Every new profile
From sign-up to published
Awaiting confirmation
A new profile is not public straight away. It is held as awaiting confirmation.
Automatic checks
Automatic rules check the profile, for example for text, phone numbers or devices shared with other accounts.
Human review
Profiles the rules cannot clear go to a person on the team before a decision is made.
Published or declined
Only approved profiles are published. Declined profiles do not appear in the directory.
What we act on
Content we remove
Possible minorsUrgent
Reports that a profile may show someone under 18 are reviewed first, and the profile is removed when confirmed.
Coercion or traffickingUrgent
Signs that someone is forced or controlled are treated as urgent.
Photos without consentUrgent
Profiles using someone else's photos are removed when confirmed.
Fake or copied profiles
Profiles with stolen photos or invented details.
Scams
Profiles that ask for money in advance or use the site to defraud people.
Spam and duplicates
Repeated profiles, unrelated advertising and spam accounts.
Accounts and access
Advertiser accounts can only manage their own profiles from their account. They cannot publish anything else on the site, and access keys for outside tools are reserved for the EscortReal team. Accounts that misuse the site lose their access.
